“On a recent Tuesday, while preparing for a podcast we co-host on debunking science myths, we came across a headline terrifying even by 2020 standards: researchers suggest that COVID-19 vaccines increase the risk of contracting HIV.

Even before the COVID-19 vaccine is widely available, another looming, man-made public health threat — vaccine hesitancy — threatens to undo its promise. Regrettably, questionable click-bait headlines that call into question the efficacy of the nascent vaccine are igniting and accelerating this hesitation.”
